This will most likely be my last review of MoH -- the series has really grown to annoy me.
Tobe Hooper's "Dance of the Dead": in a post-apocalyptic world, zombies are used to entertain nihilistic club junkies. Yawn.
Mick Garris' "Chocolate": there's this guy who starts seeing through this hot chick's eyes. He knows she's hot because she spends a lot of time naked in front of a full-length mirror. He goes looking for her. Um.
Larry Cohen's "Pick Me Up": Dueling serial killers. Oh, and there's a twist at the end (duh). Larry Cohen cracked me up.
Stuart Gordon's "Dreams in the Witch House": A fairly faithful rendition of a Lovecraft story by the Lovecraft movie master. The appearance of Zathras pretty much killed this one for me.
Series Retrospect: In all, I'm glad I saw almost all of these, if only for the Extra interviews with the directors. I knew very little about them except their names and portfolios. The episodes themselves went downhill rather quickly from the heights of "Jenifer" and "Imprint".
And the theme music is really wearing on me.
